groovyPost Founder and Editor – Steve Krause

Thank you for visiting groovyPost. As a technology professional and executive, I founded the site back in 2007 as a tool to both record and share all the geeky tools, services, and gadgets that kept me up into the late hours of the night. I was also frustrated at the time by other websites and forums that were nearly impossible to navigate and contained more ads than actual content. To this day, our primary focus at groovyPost is to write easy-to-understand, authentic, and helpful content while keeping the site clutter-free and more usable than all our peers.

Since our launch in 2007, the team has grown to include experts in almost all areas of technology. Together, we’ve published tens of thousands of accurate and authoritative how-to tutorials, tips, reviews, and news, all focused on the ever-changing world of information technology. Our expertise and commitment to quality have been recognized far and wide; we’ve been quoted by the largest publications online, including The New York Times, CNET, NPR, The Guardian, Business Insider, ZDNet, and Wired, just to name a few. With all the advances in the areas of AI, we’ve also resisted the temptation of letting bots write our content in order to increase throughput. All articles found on groovyPost are 100% created by humans, for humans!

As geeks, the team loves to tinker and write about different areas of tech and gadgets, including all things Microsoft, Apple, Google, and social, as well as other online services and personal software. Online security and privacy are also near and dear to our hearts as the digital world becomes more and more complicated, and our readers need more help staying ahead of the bad guys.

It’s fairly easy to navigate the thousands of articles using our search engine on the site. However, the best way to enjoy our content is by subscribing to our free newsletter. It’s sent Monday – Saturday and includes a weekly digest on Sunday. It’s easy to subscribe or cancel. I encourage you to give it a shot.

With over 40 million visitors annually, groovyPost has grown to become one of the largest independent publications online—primarily due to the thousands of loyal readers. Thank you for your continued support and engagement!
